UPTET Result 2026 (OUT): Download Scorecard, Check Cut Off, Qualifying Marks & Eligibility Certificate

Uttar Pradesh Education Service Selection Commission (UPESSC) is yet to announce the result declaration date of Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (UPTET) 2026. The exam was held on 2, 3, and 4 July 2026 across all 75 districts of Uttar Pradesh. The result, released on 26 August 2026, shows 5,71,435 candidates qualified in the Primary Level and 7,59,513 candidates qualified in the Upper Primary Level. Candidates can check their result on the official website, upessc.up.gov.in.

Vacancy Details

UPTET does not have a vacancy table because it is a teacher eligibility test, not a recruitment drive – clearing it only issues a lifetime-valid eligibility certificate. Actual teaching-post vacancies are filled through a separate recruitment exam, Super TET (conducted by UPBEB), which had not been notified for 2026 as of this writing. Candidates should treat UPTET as the qualifying gateway, not the job itself.

How to Fill the UPTET 2026 Application Form

1. Visit the official UPESSC website and go to the UPTET 2026 application link.
2. Complete new registration with your name, date of birth, mobile number, and email ID, and verify via OTP.
3. Log in using your registration number and password.
4. Fill in personal, educational, and communication details, and select Paper 1, Paper 2, or both.
5. Choose your exam centre preferences and reservation category, if applicable.
6. Upload scanned photograph, signature, and required certificates in the prescribed format and size.
7. Pay the application fee online (debit/credit card, net banking, or e-Challan).
8. Review all entered details carefully, then submit the form.
9. Download and save the filled application form and payment receipt for future reference.

UPTET Result 2026 Out

Result Status: UPTET 2026 result for both Primary Level (Class 1–5) and Upper Primary Level (Class 6–8) has been officially declared on 26 August 2026.

• Primary Level: 5,71,435 out of 7,13,648 candidates qualified (80.07%)
• Upper Primary Level: 7,59,513 out of 10,57,021 candidates qualified (71.85%)

Qualifying Marks / Cut Off

Steps to Check and Download UPTET Result 2026

1. Visit the official UPESSC website once the result link is activated.
2. Look for the “UPTET Result 2026” link under Candidate Services or Latest Updates.
3. Click the link – it will open a login window.
4. Enter your Registration/Roll Number and Password/Date of Birth.
5. Enter the captcha code (if shown) and submit.
6. Your scorecard will appear with your name, roll number, subject-wise marks, and qualifying status.
7. Download the scorecard as a PDF and keep a printout for future reference.

What Happens After the UPTET Result?

• Candidates who meet the qualifying marks are issued a UPTET Eligibility Certificate, valid for a lifetime, typically within about 30 days of the result.
• A Paper 1 certificate makes you eligible for Primary Teacher posts (Classes 1-5); a Paper 2 certificate makes you eligible for Upper Primary Teacher posts (Classes 6-8).
• Qualifying UPTET does not itself guarantee a job – you still need to apply separately when a recruitment drive such as Super TET is notified.
• Candidates who already hold a valid UPTET certificate from an earlier cycle (2019, 2022, etc.) keep that certificate’s lifetime validity and may reappear only to try to improve their score.
