How to Download the Provisional / Final Answer Key

1. Visit the official UPPRPB website: uppbpb.gov.in
2. Click on the “UP Police Constable Answer Key 2026” (Provisional or Final) link on the homepage
3. Enter your Registration Number/Roll Number and Date of Birth/Password as prompted
4. Select your exam date and shift, and enter your Question Booklet Number where asked
5. Submit to view the answer key and your response sheet
6. Download and save the PDF for future reference

How to Raise an Objection (Provisional Key)

1. Log in to the official objection portal using your Registration Number and Date of Birth/ Password
2. Select the specific question you want to challenge
3. State the answer you believe is correct, along with a valid reason
4. Upload supporting documentary proof wherever applicable
5. Pay the objection fee online per question, where applicable (refunded if the objection is upheld)
6. Submit the form and download the acknowledgement receipt for your records

Objections were accepted only through the official online portal between 20 and 23 June 2026 – submissions through any other mode were not entertained.

Provisional vs. Final Answer Key

• The provisional answer key is the first version released right after the exam, open to candidate objections for a fixed window
• UPPRPB reviewed all objections received during the 20-23 June window with subject experts before finalising the key
• The final answer key, released 31 July 2026, is the version the result is actually prepared from – not the provisional one
• Keep copies of both the provisional and final keys for your own records during the rest of the selection process

How to Calculate Your Estimated Score

1. Match each of your recorded responses against the official answer key
2. Count your total number of correct answers
3. Multiply the correct answers by the marks assigned per question, as per the exam’s marking scheme
4. There is no negative marking in this exam, so no marks are deducted for incorrect answers
5. The resulting total is your estimated score – treat it as an estimate, not an official score, until the result and cut-off are declared

What Happens Next

Since the result has already been declared alongside the final answer key on 31 July 2026, candidates who estimated their scores using this key can now check their official result and cut-off status directly. Shortlisted candidates move to Document Verification and the Physical Standard Test (DV/PST), scheduled from 17 August 2026, followed by the Physical Efficiency Test (PET).
