UPPSC GIC Lecturer Mains Form 2026 – Admit Card, Exam Date & Schedule

UPPSC opened the Mains online application window for GIC Lecturer Recruitment 2025 on 29 July 2026, for candidates who qualified the Prelims exam held on 14 June 2026. The online window closed on 12 August 2026, and a hard-copy submission step follows – candidates should check the official Mains notice for the exact deadline and required enclosures. UPPSC GIC Lecturer Mains Admit Card 2026 has been released. The Mains examination was scheduled for 30 August 2026, with Psychology and Criminology & Penology papers on 31 August 2026. Candidates can download the admit card using their OTR number.

Who Can Apply

Only candidates declared qualified in the subject-wise Prelims merit list are eligible to fill the Mains online form. The general qualification for most GIC subjects is a postgraduate degree in the relevant subject with at least 50% marks, along with a B.Ed, Special B.Ed, or M.Ed. Some subjects and posts may carry additional or different requirements – for example, Hindi candidates may need Sanskrit at the graduation level, special-school (Sparsh) posts may require special-education qualifications, and the Jail Training School posts may require subject-specific Master’s degrees.

How to Apply – Online Stage (Closed 12 August)

1. Visit the official UPPSC website, uppsc.up.nic.in, and open the OTR (One-Time Registration) e-Pariksha portal.
2. Authenticate using your OTR number and password/OTP – this is the registration number originally used for your Prelims application.
3. Open the GIC Lecturer Mains Online Form 2026 link for your subject.
4. Verify pre-filled personal and educational details, and update where required.
5. Upload supporting documents/PDFs for marks and other claims made in the form.
6. Pay the application fee through the available online payment mode.
7. Submit the form and download the confirmation/declaration page.

• Printed copy of the submitted online application/declaration
• Self-attested copies of educational qualification certificates (postgraduate degree, B.Ed/equivalent, or subject-specific qualification where applicable)
• Self-attested category certificate (SC/ST/OBC/EWS), if applicable
• Any supporting documents/PDFs for marks or achievements claimed in the online form
• Address slip as specified in the Mains notice
