Where and How to Upload Documents
- Documents must be uploaded only through the official UPSSSC website: upsssc.gov.in
- Documents sent by email, post, in-person submission, or any other unofficial method will not be accepted
- Login requires: Registration Number (as per the advertisement) and OTP verification
- The OTP is sent to the candidate’s registered mobile number and email ID; the candidate is fully responsible for the security and confidentiality of their login details
- Uploaded documents can be viewed and modified any number of times until the last date, after which no changes are possible
Photograph Specifications
- Recent colour photograph, without excessive brightness or shadow on the face
- Face (chin to forehead) should cover at least 75% of the photo area and be clearly visible
- Background must be light (white/light grey preferred)

- Spectacles are allowed, but eyes must be clearly visible through them

Documents Required for Upload
The exact documents required depend on each candidate’s specific claims (educational qualification, category, reservation) as filled in the application. Broadly, these include:
- High School and Intermediate certificates, along with certificates for the qualification prescribed for the post, and marksheets
- Reservation/category certificates where applicable (SC/ST, OBC, EWS, and other relevant certificates)

PDF Format Rules
- If a certificate and its corresponding marksheet exist as separate documents, scan both together and upload as a single combined PDF
- Minimum PDF size: 200 KB
- Maximum PDF size: 2 MB
- All uploaded documents must be complete, clear and legible, and must match the terms mentioned in the advertisement – incomplete, unclear or non-compliant documents can lead to rejection of the related eligibility/reservation claim
Important Instructions
- Verify that the name, parents’ names, date of birth, category and educational details entered in the application match the uploaded documents; in case of any mismatch, upload a clear and satisfactory clarification document – the Commission’s decision on such discrepancies will be final and binding
- Candidates are fully responsible for the correctness, validity and authenticity of uploaded documents; candidature can be cancelled at any stage if a document is found fake, invalid, incorrect or fraudulent
- The Commission may seek clarification on uploaded documents at any time
- Original documents may be demanded by the Commission or the appointing authority; failure to produce them when required can lead to cancellation of candidature at any stage of selection
- UPSSSC will not be responsible for issues arising from internet, server, device or other technical problems – candidates should complete the upload process well before the last date rather than waiting until 29 September 2026
- No additional opportunity will be given if a candidate fails to upload documents due to personal reasons, technical problems, delay or any other cause
- Being shortlisted for eligibility/document verification, uploading documents, or participating in any stage of selection does not guarantee final selection
- After uploading, candidates must agree to the Declaration, enter the verification code and click SUBMIT to complete the process; once submitted, a “Print Form” button appears on screen, allowing candidates to download and print their application
