Intermediate Certificate in Architecture (3-year full-time or 4-year part-time course) with 2 years of experience in architectural planning and design; OR a 3-year full-time Diploma in Architectural Assistantship from the UP Board of Technical Education (or a recognised institution) with 3 years of relevant experience. Working knowledge of Hindi in Devanagari script is also required. |

- Bachelor’s degree from a recognised university, with working knowledge of Hindi in Devanagari script.
- Preference given to candidates with an MBA/PGDM.

- Visit the official UPPSC website and complete One Time Registration (OTR) if not already done
- Log in to your Candidate Dashboard and select Advertisement No. A-3/E-1/2026
- Choose the post – Architectural Assistant, Estate Manager, or Microbiologist – and fill personal, educational, and category details
- Upload scanned copies of your photo, signature, and relevant certificates in the specified format and size
- Review all entries carefully, since corrections are allowed only until 10 September 2026
- Pay the application fee online and submit the form
- Save and print the confirmation page for future reference

| Architectural Assistant (Appendix-2) |
Two papers: Paper I General Studies (200 marks, 2 hours, includes a Hindi grammar section) and Paper II Architecture (300 marks, 3 hours) covering design, construction and materials, drawing, history of architecture, climatology, building services, structures, estimation and costing, and professional practice. |
| Estate Manager (Appendix-3) |
A single paper (400 marks, 3 hours) covering Mathematics, General Hindi, Computer knowledge, General Knowledge, and Logical Reasoning. |
| Microbiologist (Appendix-4) |
Two papers: Paper I General Studies (200 marks, 2 hours, 100 questions) and Paper II Microbiology (300 marks, 3 hours) covering microbial diversity, microbial control and growth, food contamination and preservation, food safety standards (FSSAI, HACCP), and microbial food products and waste management. |
| All three examinations use objective-type MCQs on OMR sheets, with 1/3 mark deducted for each wrong answer. Minimum qualifying marks are 35% for SC/ST candidates and 40% for all other categories. Selection is based on marks obtained in the written exams. |
