2. Complete One-Time Registration (OTR) at least 72 hours in advance via https://otr.pariksha.nic.in, if not already registered.

Selection Process

• Scrutiny of online applications for eligibility, qualification, and category claims.
• The Commission may hold a Screening Examination (objective type, OMR-based) under the UPPSC (Direct Recruitment through Screening Examination) Regulations, 2025, where only qualifying candidates are called for interview.
• If a Screening Examination is held, final merit combines 75% weightage of screening test marks and 25% weightage of interview marks.
• Negative marking of one-third (0.33) mark applies for each wrong answer in the Screening Examination; no penalty for unattempted questions.
• Minimum qualifying standard in the Screening Examination: 35% for SC/ST candidates and 40% for all other categories.
• Document Verification and Interview – shortlisted candidates must produce original certificates; employed candidates must submit a No Objection Certificate from their employer.
• Meeting the minimum qualification does not guarantee a call for interview – mere eligibility does not entitle a candidate to selection.
